Facilities

 

Sisters School District is comprised of three schools (Elementary, Middle and High School) plus our alternative programs for high school students.

 

The Facilities Department services five buildings and over 50 acres with a staff of five full-time custodians and three full-time maintenance workers and groundskeepers.

Facilities responsibilities include:

  • Building custodial upkeep, maintenance and repairs
  • Heating/cooling scheduling and maintenance
  • Grounds maintenance, irrigation, and landscaping
  • Deferred maintenance and project planning
  • Light construction and remodeling
  • Equipment repairs
  • Equipment deliveries and set-up
  • District safety, training, and accident reporting
  • Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Records
  • Building security, keys, and vandalism reporting
  • Monitoring of building use activities
  • Energy conservation
  • Garbage and recycling coordination
  • Snow removal
